Detox and Rehab FAQs

We treat all substance use disorders here. We offer detox and inpatient rehab for alcohol, opioids, stimulants, prescription medications, and more. Our treatment is evidence-based, backed by proven science and built with compassion.

Yes, Clear Path Recovery Center offers one of Missouri’s most modern inpatient drug and alcohol detoxes, right here. We deliver first-class addiction care, in-house, so you never have to worry about transferring from one place to another. We care for you or your loved one the whole way through.

Yes — but only during designated breaks.
Smoking and vaping are permitted during scheduled break times in the designated areas. Please note that both cigarettes and vapes must be brand new and unopened when you enter the facility.

Yes, we offer family therapy and encourage family involvement in the addiction recovery and treatment process. We believe strongly in the therapeutic value of family therapy and involvement in the healing process.

Clear Path Recovery Center is an inpatient drug and alcohol detox and rehab. This means we offer full-time treatment with 24-hour support, so work and school are not possible while you’re in treatment here so you can focus entirely on getting well.

However, you may be eligible for Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) job protection while you receive treatment. Colleges and universities will usually also allow time off for medical reasons without an academic penalty, as long as your follow their protocols.

Ask your Admissions Coordinator about FMLA or missing school before you check-in and they can advise you on next steps.

Approved visitors, generally family, are allowed at your therapist’s discretion after your detox or ‘blackout’ period is completed. There are designated times for visits.

Please ask your Admissions Coordinator for more details, if you have questions about our visitation policies.

We believe faith can be an invaluable source of strength in recovery. While we are a secular program, we support and encourage patients to practice their faith. We will arrange weekly visits to non-denominational church.

If you have a special request or accommodation for your faith, please ask your Admissions Coordinator prior to checking-in and we’ll see what we can do.

All rooms at Clear Path Recovery Center are semi-private by default. We encourage patients not to isolate and believe strongly in the therapeutic value of fellowship.

However, private rooms may be arranged at additional cost, when our census allows. Please ask your Admissions Coordinator prior to check-in, if you would like to arrange a private room at additional cost.

What people say about Clear Path

Substance use disorder treatment is about results, first and foremost. As an evidence-based addiction care program, we pay close attention to outcomes. We also listen carefully to what our present, and past patients have to say.

Here are some testimonials from former patients.

Clear Path wasn’t just a program — it was the first place I felt truly safe. The staff saw me, not just my addiction.
