We offer a safe and comfort-focused medical detox from virtually every controlled substance and drug that can be habit forming or addictive. From alcohol to opioids to meth and synthetic drugs. If you don’t see what you’re looking for below—-just give us a call.
If you don’t see the drug you are concerned about here—-please give us a call.
Medical detox is necessary for drug or alcohol dependence when stopping use could lead to dangerous or deadly withdrawal symptoms. Alcohol and benzodiazepines, in particular, have very dangerous withdrawal symptoms.
You should never attempt to detox yourself at home, especially from alcohol or benzos like Xanax or Klonopin. Serious and potentially fatal seizures can occur during withdrawal. Anyone who is drinking or using benzos daily, should absolutely have a medically supervised detox.
Depending on the person’s health, medical complications can occur in withdrawal from many other substances. Home detoxing or ‘cold turkey’ simply is not worth the risk, nor the unnecessary suffering.
Even if you are on a mild to moderate dose of prescription painkillers, like Percocet, Norco or Lortab—trying to quit at home may not be dangerous, but it’s certain to be uncomfortable. What’s worse is that extra suffering may all be for nothing because research shows that people who quit ‘cold turkey’ are more likely to relapse in early recovery.
Do you need a medical alcohol or drug detox?
The bottom line is that there are dozens of good reasons to get an inpatient drug and alcohol detox at a top-tier facility like ours. There is no good reason not to get a medical detox. Don’t tough it out at home and possibly risk your comfort, health, or even your life.

For the safety of patients and staff and legal compliance there will be NO EXCEPTIONS.
The simplest, safest way to admit to Clear Path detox this is to call us first so we can put the wheels in motion for you. If you have a medical emergency, i.e. someone is seizing, overdosing or unresponsive—-CALL 911 immediately.
For patient safety and security, Clear Path must ask that you leave workout supplements, herbal supplements, vitamins and over the counter medication at home. These substances often have ingredients that can interact with medications we may prescribe.
We must also be aware that others may have allergies. We have over the counter medications here for your use, if there’s anything of that nature you require and it’s within your treatment protocol, we will see that you get it.
Remember the reason you or your loved one is here is for medical treatment and help. Every policy we have was put in place with your best interests in mind. We recommend bringing simple, comfortable clothing that’s easy to wash and wear. Revealing clothing is inappropriate and may make others uncomfortable. Leaving jewelry and excess cosmetics at home helps keep things simple and avoid any potential loss, theft or misunderstandings.
